James Coleman announces tryouts for the FLA Flag Nationals (FFN)

Former Florida State running back, 2002-2005, James Coleman is the Director at Large for the FFN and is proud to bring you the next level for flag football participation.

The FLA Flag Nationals is brought to you by a team of successful and experienced football professionals and sports event managers.

What is the FFN?
*An opportunity for individual boys and girls from all football backgrounds (Flag, Tackle, Both) to showcase their talents in statewide competition
*Teams are formed in metro regions from tryouts. 
*Selected individuals are placed on a metro team and then assigned a coaching staff that will teach skills valued by high school coaches.
*Teams then compete in the inaugural FFN event on February 5-6 in Palm Coast.
*The FFN will start in state and move to a national format the following year.

Who is FFN for?
*Boys in grades 3 thru 8 in the 2021-2022 school year
*Girls in grades 8-12 in the 2021-2022 school year

Who are the coaches and directors? Key Staff/Coaches | FLA Flag Nationals
*Boys – Coaches hail from the high school coaching ranks, giving grade 3 thru 8 boys the chance to be coached by the next level
*Girls – Current high school coaches who coach either boys tackle and/or girls flag make up the majority of our coaches. College recruiting assistance will be made available to participants.
*Our directors consist of current high school coaches and a sports management team with decades of experience in running youth sports events both in the state and beyond.
*Participants will have the opportunity to be considered for our national program to be rolled out in 2022-2023.
