12th Annual Orlando Fall Lacrosse League PREVIEW

The Orlando Fall League features the top programs in Central Florida plus more.
You will see clubs who are preparing some of the top teams and players in the entire state.

September 25 – Austin Tindall Park, Kissimmee
October 3 – Northeast Regional Park, Davenport
October 9 – Moore’s Station Fields, Sanford

The Orlando Fall League features the top programs in Central Florida plus more. 

You will see clubs who are preparing some of the top teams and players in the entire state.   

Here is a quick preview of what to look for in the 2021 Fall Season: 

High School League – Final Four High School Programs’ Players Dot the Rosters of Fall Clubs: 
Both the Winter Park Retrievers Club and LCO Lake Mary Club teams will field a significant number of returners from their high school Class 2A 2021 FHSAA state final four teams. 

Expect Windermere high school players to lead the West Orange Outlaws to challenge the top teams in the league. The Oviedo Pride returns several key players who shined for the Oviedo HS program’s district title run last spring.

Ambush LC, out of Tampa Florida Dorados, and the Florida Generals out of Gainesville are packed with elite players who will be making final Class 1A four runs in 2022.  

The South Orlando Renegades, Swarm, Tropics, and Brantley Bulldogs have produced top players for years and are back.  Just in case you were not aware, the number one college player in the country and Tewaaraton Award winner for the 2021 college season, Jared Bernhardt, is a product of the Bulldog program.

Youth League – Some of the strongest youth clubs in the state: 
The Swarm, West Orange Outlaws, Lake Mary Mohicans, Braveheart, Winter Park LC, and C4E have been developing top players for years who go onto to being the top players in Orlando on a consistent basis. 

New kids on the block (some old with new names): 
Emerging new clubs and renamed clubs also are featured this year. 

*The Stags based in South Orlando are quickly building a quality youth program. 

*The Orlando Rockets in association with the men’s indoor league team now represents West Orange High School and surrounding area. 

*Welcome to the Polk County Hurricanes out of Lakeland and new coach to the area Dylan Hoff.  Coach Hoff just recently moved to the state after recently coaching at in the college ranks, notably at Gettysburg College. 

*The Wookies, under Coach Mark Ayad, are now the GOATS.   

*The Royals, under Coach Reed Reynolds, are now the LIONS. 

*The Lake County Scorpions have re-emerged with a renewed purpose.

*The Firehawks out of Flagler County start action October 3.
